The Ellen Digital Network seeks an experienced Digital Research Campaign Performance Manager to help guide its growing, Emmy-award-winning business. The Ellen Digital Network (EDN) harnesses the power of Ellen’s massive audience online and in social media, where she consistently ranks as the top TV personality, and continues to grow at a record-setting pace. Ellen ranks as a top creator of digital content online, with more than 500M total cross-platform views, and reaches 71.1M fans worldwide.

The Digital Research Campaign Performance Manager will report to the SVP, Brand Content and Partnerships. The role sits within the Activation Team and is primarily responsible for the holistic success of a digital campaign, across social, video, mobile, media and native. This includes EDN’s original slate of programming, its mobile and gaming content (which includes the Heads Up!, the #1 Paid App in Apple’s App Store), ELLEN’s large social footprint, as well as digital content from the Emmy-award winning Ellen show.

Successful candidates have a deep-rooted interest and understanding of digital data, understand what works and doesn’t work across digital when it comes to user-behavior, and is able to make recommended optimizations to deliver above and beyond for clients. This candidate has a digital research background, along with digital sales knowledge.

As a key member of the Brand Partnerships Team, the ideal candidate must be a go-getter, a solution oriented thinker, highly organized and able to thrive in a high volume, fast-paced and team-oriented television production environment.



·Responsible for providing and analyzing all data associated with branded digital campaigns

·Leads digital measurement strategy for custom branded content, and standard media ads (pre-roll, display) to ensure maximum audience reach and monetization.

·Generates required campaign reports on monthly, weekly and/or hourly-bases (depending on client-seller needs)

·Delivers all end-of-campaign wrap report data, including insights and analysis

·Runs, manages and maintains any paid social campaigns – must understand audience targeting across social

·Explores new measurement solutions by partnering with leading research vendors in the market.

·Actively deliver research trend reports that could impact business 

·Develop and deliver advertising and media related research insights including audience profiles and trend, engagement metrics, competitor, market and industry intelligence.

·Work with WB Ad Ops, WB Consumer Intelligence and WB Sales Force (Newsletters) to have a deep understanding of our available data, in an effort to make suggestions on how to    grow revenue opportunities

·Has a deep understanding audience patterns on (including mobile apps and games) in order to make suggestions for optimizing revenue

·Collaborates with campaign activation team to ensure KPIs are correctly measured and assist in post-campaign reporting by providing the analytics for every on-air and digital         integration program

·Deep understanding of, the always-changing, Video and Social platform advertising opportunities (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat)

·Incorporate innovative and best-in-class strategies to package and sell EDN digital, mobile/gaming content, app, social and video assets.

·Maintains data associated with all case studies

·Maintains deep understanding of competitors and digital industry trends

·Supports fellow Activations Teammates and available for ad hoc activations needs, with ultimate team goal to always activate flawlessly



·At least 4+ years’ experience in digital analytics role, focusing on supporting ad sales 

·Digital Agency Research Experience, a plus

·BA/BS degree in Business, Economics, Advertising, Marketing, or related field 

·Proficiency with comScore Media Metrix/PlanMetrix, Adobe Omniture, Social Media Dashboards, and Nielsen DAR

·Proficiency in Excel, Keynote and PowerPoint

·Excellent organizational skills

·Strong quantitative market research experience ideally focused on digital media measurement or brand advertising research 

·Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively 

·Proven ability to maximize utility of a broad range of research resources
