Ellen Digital Network seeks an experienced Digital Video Producer of Brand Content & Partnerships to help guide its growing, Emmy-award-winning business. The Digital Producer of Brand Content & Partnerships is the primary point person between the sales team (Brand Content & Partnership Team) and creative editorial team (Ellen Digital). The role leads the creative development (ideation, ideation and more ideation!), production and execution of all branded video content, which is distributed across The Ellen Digital Networks (Ellen’s O&O, Ellen’s social networks, Ellen’s mobile apps & games).

The role is rooted in creative and storytelling, but the ideal candidate has a history and deep understanding of working with advertising partners to deliver incredible content (that happens to be branded or born out of a brand brief) and always above and beyond expectations.



  • Responsible for the creative conception, production and delivery of branded video content (custom, sponsorship, series, etc.), which leans on short-form lengths

  • Works closely with sales team to understand advertising client KPIs, often on client phone calls pitching creative and walking clients through production schedules and key elements

  • Facilitates all production phases including pre-production, production and post

  • Works closely with production finance team to ensure program is planned and delivered within budget

  • Liaison between Ellen Digital Team and Branded Content & Partnerships Team, ensuring all creative pitched and in-market, meets creative and client expectations -- ultimately delivering fresh entertainment to mobile user globally

  • Collaborates with Ellen Digital Team on the development of new content slates -- informing the entire Brand Content & Partnerships Team of opportunities available to sell

  • Works closely with Partner Solutions Manager to communicate all creative pitch elements, so the building out of sales materials and packages delivers on the original creative

  • Actively brainstorms new creative concepts that deliver data-based results for branded content sales.

  • Studies performance metrics of video content, so future creative can shift to constantly adapt to the changing landscape of the digital consumer

  • Has a deep knowledge of the digital video landscape, understanding how different video formats and creative performs differently across different social platforms, and digital destinations

  • Creates summary materials in order to accurately convey to clients how the video will come to life

  • Coordinates the on-time delivery of client video campaigns, meeting all predetermines deadlines, working closely with Digital Activations Lead to ensure digital campaign releases are flawlessly executed

  • Assists with brainstorming of digital and cross-platform sales products

  • Build awareness of the Ellen Digital Network



  • Minimum of 6-years related experience

  • The ideal candidate is a creative mind, whose background is rooted and specializes in creative, however, has a history of working in the branded content space and understands advertiser requirements

  • Experience with video-driven campaigns a must, especially at a digital publisher

  • A positive, can-do attitude...a pleasure to work with!

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • A proven track record of working in a fast-paced, ever changing environment.

  • A plus if experience in production for broadcast entities.

  • Shows a high degree of self-motivation and works well within an individual and team environment

  • Must have a strong customer focus that conveys responsiveness, organization and competence

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office products especially PowerPoint and Keynote

  • Familiar with social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat & YouTube

  • Organized, with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task

  • Avid consumer of media, all types

  • Familiarity and enthusiasm for the ELLEN brand, digital content and sense of humor

  • Willingness to travel when needed for production and client needs
