SUMMARY OF POSITION: Do you love Hollywood, celebrities and red carpet events?  Extra is looking for a Manager of Brand Content & Partnerships to oversee Content Development and Advertiser Branded Content sales within the Extra portfolio of properties & talent across on-air, on-line and social media. This position reports to the SVP of Brand Content and Partnerships and will be responsible for working with partners, agencies and clients on original content opportunities across all Extra businesses.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the process of prospecting, closing, and executing branded content and integrated deals with prospective partners including:
  • Prospecting of new and potential advertising partners
  • Leveraging existing relationships with key agency and brand contacts
  • Creating proposals and pitches for clients and media teams
  • Creating exemplary and innovative integrated marketing programs for brand partners
  • Closing new business to exceed annual targets
  • Continually meeting and exceeding annual revenue goals
  • Champion new business opportunities and pioneer breakthrough partnerships that contribute to bottom line profitability
  • Collaborate with show production teams to create organic, contextually relevant, and highly entertaining original content utilizing the full suite of Extra talent and assets
  • Creatively infuse brand and show insight and interests within integrations, from initial ideas to execution
  • Drive flawless execution of each branded integration, ensuring delivery of the brand’s priority message(s)
  • Oversee and deliver status reports on partnerships and revenue

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in sales and business development, preferably in the digital content or on air media space
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing, or related field, required
  • Ability to create customized content campaigns for clients
  • Strong client relationships and key industry contacts
  • Passionate at pitching creative and the Extra brand
  • Some travel required: 25%
  • Proficient level PC and Mac and working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
