SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Senior Digital Sales Planner acts as the primary point person for the execution of all Digital campaigns. This role is responsible for the coordination of all digital advertising campaigns which include the submission of proposals, assisting management and sales teams with client needs, and working with Marketing, Creative, Research and Ad Operations teams on implementation and execution. The Senior Digital Sales Planner will collaborate with the Advertising Director, Integrations, Marketing, Ad Operations, and other internal teams to provide clients with the most efficient and effective experience when partnering with the Ellen Digital Network.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build awareness of the Ellen Digital Network
  • Assist Digital and Integrations Team with research as well as outreach to new partners
  • Interface with agencies/ clients on all aspects of campaign execution and implementation
  • Work with sales to respond to all RFPs by creating media plans that meet client objective
  • Identify site audience/demographics and ideal media mix for advertiser objectives and leverage resources for a competitive advantage
  • Coordinate the on-time delivery of client proposals
  • Assist with brainstorming of cross-platform ideas
  • Respond to requests about inventory, ad products, creative specifications, etc.
  • Ensure that media plans include accurate pricing, available inventory and utilize approved products
  • Manage the creation, implementation, execution, and tracking of campaigns, and work with all levels of client and advertising agency decision makers and influencers
  • Process and manage Insertion Orders utilizing Warner Bros tools and systems (DFP, Operative)
  • Responsible for updating all digital support materials & assets (ex: viewability checklists, rate card, calendar, FAQs, ect.)
  • Works with EDN analyst to understand all traffic patterns on the site/apps, in order to create new sales opportunities
  • Responsible for deep understanding and implementation of revenue across mobile app games/rewarded video
  • Works to ensure site and apps are tagged properly, certifications are in order and new products are set to launch
  • Creation of campaign PowerPoint and Keynote presentations for pitches and wrap reports 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 4-years related experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Digital Sales Planning Experience is required as well as a proven track record of working in a fast-paced, ever changing environment. A plus if experience digital planning for broadcast entities.
  • Show a high degree of self-motivation and work well within an individual and team environment
  • Must have a strong customer focus that conveys responsiveness and competence
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office products especially Excel, PowerPoint and Keynote
  • Familiar with social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat & Tumblr
  • Organized, with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • Desire to learn different aspects of digital advertising and on-air integrations
