January 1, 2018 - 2018 Flexible Spending Account elections become effective.
Early January - Review your paychecks to ensure that your deductions accurately reflect your current benefit plans. Any errors should be reported immediately to Benefits at (818) 972-0094.
Mid January - Time to elect your 401(k) catch-up contributions. In order to participate, you must be at least 50 years old or turning 50 in 2018 and making the maximum annual elective contribution ($18,500 or, if lower, 60% of your eligible compensation or 8% if you are considered a highly compensated employee, generally defined as those who earned more than $120,000 in 2017).
March 31, 2018 - Last day to submit 2017 FSA claims to PayFlex for reimbursement.
2nd – 3rd Quarter - Annual Financial Reporting for health & welfare plans posted.
July 2 - July 13, 2018 - Open Enrollment for 2018/2019 health plans.
August 1, 2018 - Open Enrollment health changes become effective.
3rd – 4th Quarter - Annual Financial Reporting for 401(k) retirement plan posted.
November 5 - 16, 2018 - Open Enrollment for 2019 Flexible Spending Accounts.
